The Neoden K1830 is the latest machine in the range designed for low to medium volume high speed SMD assembly. It boasts an insertion rate of up to 16,000 parts/hr, which is achieved using a gantry head with eight insertion nozzles.

Using an integrated Panasonic servo-driven, line-of-sight and position feedback system, it can achieve a placement accuracy of 0.01mm without limiting insertion speed.

The Neoden K1830 transports PCBs in a self-adjusting automatic conveyor and can accommodate up to 66 units of 8mm Yamaha pneumatic or electric feeders.

Typically, machines of this production caliber face part size limitations, but the NeoDen K1830 does not. It is capable of handling 0201, 0402, LED, BGA, 0.4 mm pitch QFP, all the way down to SMT connectors and is also compatible with cut strips, bulk parts, IO in tubes or in TRAY.
